Post Communion Prayers

   Post Communion  Prayers
               Silence:

The Minister may offer Extempore or the following prayer:

Lord God, we praise and worship and adore You for the food we have received at this table.  You have sent Your Holy Spirit among us to make our eating and drinking here a memorial of our Lord Jesus Christ.
May Your spirit help us tomorrow to make our living and working, our loving and doing and thinking a memorial of him; so that in the end, with the great company of the redeemed, we may eat and drink and be glad with him in the glory of the eternal kingdom.  Amen.
Gloria: (All Stand)
All:      Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth.  Lord God, Heavenly King, Almighty God and Father, we worship You, we give You thanks, we praise You for Your glory.  Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, You who takes away the sins of the world: have mercy on us; You who are seated at the right hand of the Father, receive our prayer.
For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father.  Amen.
